Daniela Leccisi

Owner, Personal Trainer, Certified Massage Therapist & Certified Pole Instructor

With over a decade of professional experience as a Personal Trainer in Italy, Daniela embarked on her fitness journey to London, UK, earning her Personal Trainer Level 3 Certificate. She has worked around the world before opening up her own Gym and Pole studio in Pōneke (Wellington), placing in the open category of NZAPP over the last few years. Her prop design and creative artistry are highlighted at the annual Endorphinz Showcase which fundraiser for different community causes over the past 5 years.

Daniela offers personal training, group fitness classes, massage, and pole classes. She has spent the past 5 years building a thriving fitness whānau both in Miramar and throughout the Pōneke Pole community. She believes that connection and community are just as important for our wellbeing and is always available for a chat at the Gym.

Maggie

Pole Instructor

Maggie is a celebrated pole dancer taking out awards in professional competitions like Pole Legends, where she snagged the Flexy Legend title in both 2021 and 2022, and Pole Inferno, where she was crowned Mx Glamour in 2022. Coming from a background in rhythmic gymnastics, Maggie gravitated towards pole dancing's acrobatic styles and flexy spin tricks.

As a teacher, Maggie is all about empowering her students to build strength, perfect their techniques, and get past those pesky, challenging moves and transitions. She's deeply committed to helping each student find and develop their own style and artistic expression on the pole, and she does it all in a supportive and creative atmosphere.

What really sets Maggie apart is her gentle and affirming approach to teaching! She knows how to encourage students to push their limits while making sure they feel safe and supported every step of the way.

Riley Rayne (aka Alex)

Riley's journey into the world of dance began with a fighting spirit, evident from the moment she entered the world. Her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue background manifests in her dance style, seamlessly fusing a powerful, dynamic style with slow, slinky movements that exude a uniquely sexy allure, even at their most leisurely. Her badassery won her the 2019 Pole Inferno Floor & Basework title and Dynasty Semi-Pro+ Low Flow Winner.

Known for her instructional prowess, Riley takes pride in breaking down intricate pole dance moves into easily digestible parts. This wonder woman has over a decade of experience in the pole scene. Her approach aims to make pole dancing feel effortless, guiding students to discover newfound strength and confidence they never knew existed. Join Riley on a journey where the powerful and the sultry converge, creating an experience that transcends the ordinary.

Maharani (aka Ashley)

With nearly two decades of experience as a Ballroom and Latin dancer and instructor, Salsa, Bollywood, and seven years immersed in Bharatanatyam. Ashley has been a lifelong dance enthusiast before settling down in the Pole scene, winning the Rapture Semi-Pro title in 2023.

Through the transformative practice of Pole dance, Ashley embarked on a journey of self-trust and empowerment. Pole dance became a medium through which she learned to appreciate movement not for its aesthetic but for its sensual liberation. Most importantly, Ashley discovered the freedom to embrace femininity and celebrate her sensual being in a safe and empowering space.

She now teaches a beginner pole class specifically for women of color looking to do the same and also teaches a pole flow class.

Carina Tremblay

Therapeutic Movement Instructor

With a foundation in competitive gymnastics, Carina brings a unique blend of athleticism and creativity to the realm of pole dancing. Her journey began in 2011 with rock climbing, and the allure of pole dancing captivated her in January 2013, marking the inception of a thrilling new chapter.

For Carina, dance is more than just a physical challenge; it's a canvas for creative expression. Fueled by her sports background, unwavering dedication, and genuine love for movement, Carina swiftly transitioned from a devoted student to a dynamic instructor and performer.

As an advocate for growth, Carina finds immense joy in sharing her expertise and passion for creative movement with her students. Witnessing their transformation, both as individuals and fellow pole dancers, is a source of continual inspiration for her.

In 2018, Carina won the title of Ultimate Pole Legend, a testament to her exceptional skill and commitment to the craft. Carina is currently enrolled to complete her Dance and Movement Therapy certification and teaches a creative movement and stretching & conditioning class.

Meet our Jiu-Jitsu instructor: Dave Preciado, a seasoned practitioner who ignited his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2007 under the tutelage of Rey Diogo, a distinguished Carlson Gracie black belt. Dave's dedication led him to Brazil's renowned Carlson Gracie HQ in Copa Cabana, marking a pivotal moment in his six-year training alongside Rey.

In 2013, Dave's journey took a Kiwi turn as he relocated to New Zealand, where fate introduced him to Vanderson Pires. Since their encounter, Dave has been under Vanderson's guidance, culminating in the prestigious achievement of receiving his black belt in 2019. As a pivotal member of the Jiu-Jitsu 1st team, an affiliation of Combat Room Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Dave Preciado embodies a passion for the art that transcends borders and promises unparalleled expertise in the realm of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Passionate about health and fitness, Theo's journey led him to become a dedicated personal trainer with a mission to make well-being a priority for everyone. With a specialization in combat sports, he brings years of experience in teaching kickboxing and boxing to beginners. Beyond coaching, Theo has stepped into the ring himself, gaining valuable insights from his bouts in novice and amateur Muay Thai, as well as corporate boxing.

Theo's training philosophy encompasses both the exhilaration of high-intensity workouts and the crucial importance of stretching. His approach is not only effective but also friendly and approachable, creating a supportive environment for individuals on their fitness journey.
